How Sirat handles your data in a simple, privacy-first way.
1. Location Data
Sirat uses your location only to calculate accurate prayer times and show nearby mosques. Location data is processed on-device and not stored or shared without your consent.
2. Device Information
Basic device info such as timezone and language may be used to personalize the app. This is processed locally and not uploaded.
3. Prayer Notifications
Notification preferences are saved locally on your device. Sirat does not collect usage telemetry for notifications.
4. Internet Access
Sirat fetches data from trusted APIs such as Aladhan and Google Places, and streams Quran audio from reputable online sources to enable in-app playback. All requests are anonymous, and no personal identifiers, listening habits, or usage data are collected or shared.
5. Data Retention
No personal data is stored on remote servers by Sirat. Cached preferences and prayer times remain on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
6. Third-Party Services
Sirat does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or user profiling services. Third-party APIs such as Google Maps, Aladhan, and Expo are used. Review their privacy policies for details.
7. Your Consent
Using Sirat indicates acceptance of this policy. If you disagree, discontinue use of the app.
